TRL INTRODUCES NEW TRAIN ROUTE

TANZANIA Railway Limited (TRL) has introduced a second commuter train for Dar es Salaam dwellers starting next Monday. The new line will have 10 stops plying between city centre and Pugu stations.

TRL named the station in a statement issued today as Pugu, Mwisho wa Lami, Gongo la mboto, Mombasa FFU, Banana (at Segerea junction) and Karakata. Others are Vingunguti Mbuzi, SS Bakhressa, Kamata and Central Railway Station.
The commuter train will shuttle three times in the morning and three times in the evening. The morning services starts form Pugu at 06:00 hrs and ends immediately after 11:00hrs at Central Station.
The evening ones will begin at 15:55 hrs from Central Station and end at around 21:20 hrs in Pugu.
Due to the new commuter train service the railway firm changed the upcountry departure time.
The time for departure for ordinary train shifted from 15:00hrs to 17:00hrs, to give room for commuter train services, while departure timetable for Deluxe Train remain unchanged.

Sasa zile daladala zinazoringa kwenda mjini na Kariakoo waendelee kuringa tu. Afadhali TRL kwa huu mpango manake watu wa njia ya Gongo la Mboto tumenyanyasika sana na hizi daladala. Iwe saa moja asubuhi au saa saba mchana daladala za Gongo la Mboto ni shida sana na ni kugombania bila hivyo huendi nyumbani.
